we really liked the place for what it was--lots of historical aspects, character and uniqueness, from the old tile floors to what was once a goat cave in the basement. so if you are looking for a historic place in a historic city, it's a great place to stay. if you are looking something very modern, it might not be for you. it's close to the centre of Rabat and mdina but on a quiet street. the people who run the airbnb are very friendly and when we had any issues, they were quick to respond. we would stay there again if we were to return to Rabat.

This was a great wee place to stay - spacious, furnished beautifully and full of character. Malatina is in a super handy location to explore Mdina and Rabat as well as driving further afield to visit Gozo for a day trip. Pedro and Warren are very responsive and friendly, they reply quickly and can offer recommendations for things transport and rental if needed. If you want to get a sense of Malta outside of Valleta and the other major hotspots, I’d recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay at Pedros place and would absolutely recommend it to explore Malta from there.
