I can highly recommend a stay in Karen’s Sandy Bay home. The view is absolutely stunning, the area is very lovely and the house has great rooms and good space for relaxing both indoors and outdoors. I had a lovely stay there with my family and we’ll definitely book again the next time we go to Tasmania.

The views from every room in the house are magnificent. We were a group of friends in town for Dark MOFO, but the house itself was one of the highlights of the trip. Comfortable and warm, it was a short Uber ride from the city yet so relaxing just sitting in the winter sun and looking at the water. Thanks Karen for a lovely stay

This place was not luxury. Old, outdated, a few sculptures does not make it luxury. House was clean enough but had cobwebs everywhere, smudges on the glass doors, oven yuck. Simple things missed like milk for a coffee/tea, no washing powder...Karen did drop some stuff off the next morning after i let her know our first impression which we were thankful for. Cant have 2 showers at the same time as one goes cold. Careful not to burn yourself of on the kettle when pouring as it leaks...found that out! Expired drinks and food on the cupboards and open packets of food left in cupboards. Provided a towel on bed but had to hunt for facewashers. Minimal boardgames etc for kids. On the positive the beds were very comfy, and the view is amazing....but definitely not worth what we paid.

We had a wonderful couple of nights at Karen’s property. The views are incredible and the house is spacious, cosy and comfortable. The house is well equipped and Karen a great host. Perfect place to be based in Hobart. Thank you!
