This is a fairly large studio in a great location. The train is a few blocks away but it's not too bad and there are many great area restaurants and bars. It's the diplomatic neighborhood so safety is not a concern. There's a large flat screen TV with premium cable and blazing fast Internet, if you plug in. The wifi has its issues but for basic surfing for a couple of days, it shouldn't be a problem. I stayed for a month. The apartment is on the ground floor and the three windows are the only ones, which face the street. While they have bars on them, opening the shades invites the world into the room. That said, there are plenty of lights so that the place isn't dark when the shades are drawn. This is advertised as a studio but it feels more like a one bedroom since there's a separate room which could, I assume, be considered a bedroom if it had any windows, which it doesn't... which is kind of weird and good at the same time. There are all kinds of weird things like that with the unit. It's not perfect but it's not bad if you don't mind some blemishes. The dishwasher is a really nice Bosch unit, but it's missing a cabinet panel (as shown in the pictures). The shower is pretty good. Just remember that you're not checking into an upscale hotel, you're checking into a Manhattan apartment. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and Jolie was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it.

Really enjoyed the apartment, location in Manhattan was fantastic, very close to great bars and restaurants and public transportation. The kitchen and living area were open and spacious and seperate bedroom was cozy but dark. Host always acted in response to our requests but rarely communicated that it would be done. Regardless it was done promptly.
