10 out of 10 recommend! Time stood still. A perfect place to unwind. There were so many personal touches that made this place luxuriously cozy and feel like home away from home. We will be back!

A friend & I stayed here for a weekend of Brimfield shopping. It was perfect. The porch day bed is amazing. House is very clean & comfortable, lake is gorgeous. As noted in the listing, it’s very open. No door to downstairs or upstairs bedrooms, but there is visual privacy. Also as noted, there is no TV in the cabin. It’s a perfect, spacious, comfortable lakeside retreat. Hosts are very friendly & easy to work with.

We had a great stay. It was exactly what we needed. We pretty much lived on the three season porch enjoying the views of the lake. The cabin is beautiful - well appointed, stylish, lots of personal touches, welcoming, and comfortable. We both work remotely and used it as a work-cation. Although we would have rather not been working, it was easy to do so there. The peaceful views of the lake, the birds, and other wildlife (including a very well fed groundhog) were great bookends to busy days. Cathi and Sandy were great hosts. Very responsive and they really thought of every detail. We’ll be back! Thank you!

This was such an amazing place I don't even know where to begin! It our my expectations and more! The cabin was amazing! Cathi and Sandy could not have been more gracious in their hospitality. We were allowed to check in early since we were in town to attend my sons graduation from UMASS Amherst. Having grown up in the area we were able to navigate all that was available. Locally, we had dinner at Salem Cross Inn, visited Stone Cow Brewery, and hiked at Rock House Reservation. The cabin, as well as the landscaping, was beautiful. I loved waking up and sitting on the deck drinking my morning coffee looking out at the peaceful lake. My husband and sons enjoyed many hours on the water catching numerous species of fish off of the dock and in the kayaks. In the evening we enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. Everything we could want or need was available...... beach towels, kayaks, fishing poles, fully stocked kitchen, snacks, etc.. I could go on and on. We loved our time at Slipaway

Their home on the lake is beyond relaxing and welcoming we enjoyed our stay so much. It is beautiful inside and out. Would highly recommend this little piece of heaven.
