You can't beat the location to one of the top rated beaches out there - Lanikai! It's just down the block and across the street for beach access. The unit itself is bigger than a "studio" and had everything we needed. There is no stove (hotplate), but a microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. We don't cook when we vacation so this was perfect for us! If you read the other reviews, the noise from the cars along the road there is something to contend with. We were so tired from a day of exploring that it wasn't that big a deal. You can also hear the downstairs tenant pretty well - again nothing that really concerned us. But if you're sensitive to that sort of thing - just be advised.

Beautiful location and very short walk to the beach. The downtown area had many great restaurants and the food tents on Thursdays were top notch. As others have said, there is a lot of traffic on the street in front. All in all, we would recommend as a great place to stay. Pixie was very friendly and took great care of us.

We loved the location of this Air BnB! Across the street from beach access to Lanikai Beach and 10 minute walk to Kailua Beach. The place was extremely clean. We had all the kitchen wares we needed to make breakfast and lunch everyday. Be aware that the refrigerator is a mini, not full size. The television had lots of channels if you have a rainy day and need some indoor time. We used the air conditioner twice during our stay and it cooled off the place quickly. Otherwise it stayed a comfortable temperature the rest of our four and a half day stay. There is street traffic noise during the day, but fairly quiet at night. We always got a good night sleep, but if you are a light sleeper maybe bring ear plugs. We couldn't have asked for a better location to the two beaches and several hiking spots. Lots of good eating options in town which is a 10 minute car ride. Beach amenities were provided. We used chairs, umbrellas, towels and snorkels.
