The views from the bedroom windows at this airbnb are gorgeous. Such a treat to wake up to. Our stay here was extremely quiet. The Guatemalan people working at the air bnb were helpful and sweet. We loved the town of Santa Cruz which we walked to multiple times, a nice walk to eat at Cafe sabor cruceño for breakfast or lunch. The water at the dock was clean and nice to jump into, especially in the morning. Easy to get boats to and from. The main issue for me here was the restaurant, it was the most expensive meal we had in guatemala and the worst :( the service and the food. So, my recommendation is to come prepared with some food to cook. There are no other options for dinner but the kitchen in the tree house is nice to cook in and well stocked! I would stay here again. You cannot ask for a better view. It is everything. We had the tree house apartment and it was wonderfully private. I actually slept in the bay window just so I could have that view every time I peeked my eyes open. The only drawback is the restaurant only serving vegan food. It wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t quite so isolated and there were other convenient options but the closest place to eat is a 25 min walk to the next town. The remoteness is a plus and a minus in this case. Bring some of your own food or be ready to make arrangements for dinner if you’re not interested in the one vegan dinner offered. Otherwise, I cannot say enough about this place. The use of SUPs and kayaks is also a wonderful amenity. Host was easy to communicate with and helped arrange our shuttle back to Antigua, which was much appreciated.

Es segunda vez que me quedo en este alojamiento. El lugar es precioso y la vista impresionante. La atención siempre ha sido buena, pero para mí mala suerte está vez no estaba Armand que la primera vez que vine me asesoró y atendió rebien. Está vez estaba un encargado mero apático para atendernos. En fin... recomiendo el lugar, es mágico, pero quise hacer énfasis en qué la atención está segunda vez cambió y no me agradó mucho. Por otra parte quise conectar mi Netflix con la tv, pero el internet es muy malo, y nunca conectó. Pedí ayuda, pero la persona antes mencionada no hizo nada. Cómo dije... quizá todo fue porque Armand estaba de viaje y cuando él está la atención es de 5 estrellas.
