Beautiful stay. It was just magical waking up each morning and watching the sunrise over the lake with some fresh coffee. In terms of the place itself - zero complaints. Something to take into consideration is that this is in San Pablo, which is a lesser visited town. This has both pros and cons. Pro is that you feel totally isolated in a beautiful way with the nature and locals. We loved this. Around the doc there is nothing touristy, and you really feel like you can relax here. Con is that not all of the boats from Panajachel will go here. This is fine, you just have to be firm and do not let them convince you that you need to pay for a private boat. Once you are in San Pablo, it is very easy to get boats to stop for you. Also, plan ahead on groceries! There is a fridge and a stove here, so bring food from Panajachel! You will be glad you did.

The Lodge is the perfect getaway when you visit Lake Atitlan: private, peaceful, and very clean. Dan was very attentive. There's also a guy onsite named Nicolas, a great guy who can help you with the sauna and the fire at night. The small pool overlooking the lake is incredible, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped to make any meal. If you are coming to Guatemala and visiting the lake, don't look anywhere else if you are looking for privacy and a calm retreat.

De los mejores airbnb en los que he estado. Una hermosa vista, todo hermoso. El señor Nicolas una persona hermosa, nos ayudó en todo. Amable, noble, alegre, platicador y siempre muy atento. La estancia la hizo perfecta la presencia del señor Nicolas. La comunicación con el host fue muy buena, siempre pendiente de nuestras dudas. Lo único que para MÍ fue un problema es que venía lastimada de la rodilla y el acceso es un poco difícil ya que hay que cruzar un puentecito de bambú, y todo el camino que son como 5 minutos desde el muelle es rocoso. Repito, eso fue por mi rodilla. Sin embargo, en cuanto al airbnb, fue una experiencia maravillosa. Anfitriones, el lugar, el paisaje, Nicolas. Todo. Volveríamos felices de la vida a este airbnb. Muchas gracias por habernos recibido.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful short-term rental in San Pablo, and my experience was comfortable. From the moment I arrived until the moment I departed, the level of customer service I received was truly outstanding. Despite not being the primary target audience, I found that the description of the property was accurate and reflective of the experience I encountered. The location, nestled in the tranquil surroundings of San Pablo, offered picturesque views and a sense of seclusion that was both peaceful and rejuvenating. While the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, I recommend labeling the spices in the kitchen to make it easier for guests to identify them. Secondly, I encountered a minor issue with ants indoors. Lastly, I feel that it would be beneficial for future guests to be made aware of the electricity situation in the property description. I believe that providing this information upfront would help manage expectations.
