We had a wonderful time at the Illuri Farms. Poonam and Srikant are warm hearted people and they were very welcoming. This place reflects their compassion towards nature and it’s amazing how this place is like a small village tucked in a city. This place is for people who enjoy the silence and appreciate the harmony of nature. If you are looking to spend a quiet evening but don’t plan to travel too far, this is just the right place for you. Also, Frida and Kancha deserve a special mention as they are absolutely adorable fur babies.

poonam was an amazing host, the stay is tucked in beautifully. Peaceful, green, earthy and yet accessible to the city. The property has space to walk around, louge and rest with nature. Frida and Kancha are two beagle babies who will make you feel safe. The highlight was banglore weather.
The place was exactly how we expected it to be. The room in itself was not huge (perfect for solo travellers or couples), but the farm was so soothing. Most of all, the host, Poonam, was delightful. She even introduced her pets to our infant daughter & offered her fresh bananas. This place is symbolic of the reason AirBnB was created - for offering a home away from home feeling. Poonam- thank you for being such a gracious host!
The place, the environment and the people are just perfect for a weekend getaway or a staycation. Located at a very convenient place in Whitefield, we were impressed from the time we entered the premises. We were welcomed and escorted by Kancha - their Beagle 😀.. The property was populated by trees and at one corner stands their generation old Tree where you can swing by and refresh your childhood memories. The rooms were very comfortable and all the amenities used were nicely thought and planned. And just to make sure that you're comfortable and having a good time, you'll be frequently visited and checked by Prida - their 2nd Beagle 😁 and her junior Kancha. They'll just make sure that you're having a splendid day. I can go on and on here but it won't be justified if you don't experience the homeliness yourself. Thank you everyone for having us. It was indeed a refreshing weekend we'll never forget 🙂.

So, here is a bit about us. We live on a farm along with our dogs and cows and lots of squirrels. We have just adopted a beagle, Frida (Kahlo) We love traveling and have visited and lived all over the world and of course India, passionate about food, cooking and experimenting with different ingredients that we discover on our travels. I am into yoga, art, spirituality and sustainable living(not always in that order). I teach art and yoga here at the farm , and have a studio here called Gaia Bangalore. I love being in nature, observing and learning from her. Srikant is passionate about running and food, and whips up a fabulous meal in no time, throwing in whatever he can find in the fridge or the garden.He has to have a commemorative run, on all our birthdays, anniversaries and on most other days !He loves reading books, magazines, newspapers, in short anything . We have two kids that have flown the nest, and are global citizens. WE would love to have guests , that enjoy and appreciate being in nature and in a space like this. We stay on the property and are always here to help in planning your day, suggest where to shop or go sightseeing. We look forward to hosting through Airbnb, to meeting new people and to making your stay enjoyable.
