Third time coming to the island and it’s just as wonderful as last time. Already looking forward to next year!

Wow! What a unique vacation. We have 2 protective but well-behaved dogs. We wanted a vacation where they could join us but where we could relax with their protectiveness. This was perfect! They were free to roam and we were free to relax. This is certainly “glamping” but they had everything we needed to cook, prepare camp fires (including firewood and paper), grill, etc. The island is wonderful with secluded spots to relax and view the sunrises and sunsets (they were spectacular!). There’s a comfy hammock and plenty of boats and kayaks to use as well. The cabin was comfortable, and the beds and bedding were cozy. There was both wood stove and electric heaters for the chilly mornings and evenings. Transfer on and off the island were also convenient. Nick met us timely and helped us get our abundant gear on and off the island. We’ll definitely be back!

There are no words to describe how wonderful and peaceful Dogatraz island is. Everything we needed was provided. Transportation with Nick was fabulous and so on time! We will be back

This was the third visit to Dogatraz. Each year we stay longer because it is so hard to leave. It is the best place to escape with our dogs and get away from it all. Love this place!

What else is there to say about Dogatraz? Our dogs loved roaming the island, swimming and kayaking with Dad! Truly an amazing spot to bring your dogs. What a wonderful quiet island and lake. It hurt my soul leaving this island, seeing our dogs so happy filled our hearts. Nick was great too. we arrived and there was no coffee pot. Nick had one there in literally 20 minutes, unbelievable service!!! Will be back every summer for this amazing experience!!
