Large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, furnished sun trap private terrace and spectacular views. Balinese teak king size bed, lamps, double wardrobe. Very private airy space on the second floor of stylishly renovated house on the edge of the village. A perfect place to unwind, write a book, walk, cycle or just switch off.

Zeer ruime kamer in een prachtig en ruim huis in een mooi dorp in de bergen. Jenny kon er door omstandigheden niet zijn, maar zorgde ervoor dat we niets tekort kwamen. Ideale locatie om te wandelen in dit prachtige gebied! We komen zeker terug!
Wir hatten wunderschöne 2 Tage bei Jenny, die eine tolle Gastgeberin war. Das Zimmer hatte eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und war wie das gesamte Haus sehr geschmackvoll und künstlerisch individuell eingerichtet. Mit Jenny als charmante Gastgeberin haben wir uns direkt zu Hause gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das charmante Fornalutx, sowie Biniraix sind von dort gut zu Fuß zu erkunden und auch Soller kann in einer einstündigen kleinen Wanderung entlang wunderschöner Orangenhaine und Gärten erreicht werden. Für uns war es ein perfekter Ort für eine kleine Auszeit!

Jenny was an amazing host offering a warm welcome in a tranquil and rejuvenating oasis. The communication was great and helpful, the room was as described. The surrounding quiet and with a stunning view towards the mountains, while the small town has all to offer what's needed as so does the house. The lemon cake was out of this world, and being in Jennys house I felt directly at home. I highly recommend staying there.
It was the perfect stay. Jenny is the nicest host, always helpful, I really enjoyed chatting with her. The rooms are clean and beautifully furnished. The view is just stunning. Will definitely come back.

Fornalutx is the only village in the Balearics to be been officially listed by the Spanish government as one of the prettiest villages in Spain. From the door of Ca's Penelope , guests can walk straight into the Tramuntana mountains, walk to the plaza of Fornalutx in 5 minutes to people watch, have a bike delivered to the house and cycle on hairpin bends down to Sa Calobra or drive for 8 minutes to dive into the sea at the Port de Soller. it's a 'something for everyone' destination. Ca's Penelope enjoys stunning 360 degree views of the Tramuntanas and is a real haven of peace if you just need to chillout in the garden or by the pool.
There is a bus that goes from port de Sóller to Fornalutx, a local taxi service and the Sóller to Palma train through the mountains. There is also a very frequent and economical bus service between Sóller and Palma
