Having read all of the rave reviews for Luciana's place, I had very high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded!!! First, the magic of Matera envelops you, then the big heart of Luciana embraces you, and finally the breakfast she provides nourishes you. You start your day with a beautiful breakfast of fresh fruit, chewy bread with homemade marmalade, local focaccia, and a sweet treat. We really can't say enough about the view from the patio, it's like you've been transported back in time. Luciana's place is perfectly situated in the Sasso for exploration on foot. We wandered about getting lost and then finding ourselves again. Luciana is a warm, kind, and generous host. We loved talking to her and learning about Matera. This is the top Airbnb we've stayed at in Italy. Thank you, Luciana!

Luciana was extremely responsive and helpful, even giving us a lift to pick our car hire when we left. A lovely, clean apartment in a fantastic location, right in the middle of the Sassi. Delicious breakfast served on the terrace or in your room. Good WiFi. Thank you, Luciana, we hope to visit again one day.

So far I stayed in many an airbnb, but this one really was near perfect! Don’t look any further if you want to stay in Matera, this is your place!

Der Aufenthalt bei Luciana war super. Das Apartment ist in echt noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Luciana selber ist total nett und gibt einen Tipps für die Umgebung. Auch das Frühstück auf dem Balkon war wunderschön. Ich würde immer wieder bei Luciana nächtigen.
