Just home from a lovely stay at Rose Cottage. The cottage has been beautifully restored with lovely original features. Perfect for a quiet getaway for the weekend with close walks or cycling opportunities nearby. Also loved the big bath very relaxing!

We had a fantastic stay at Rose Cottage. My daughter really enjoyed the surroundings, and loved the horses and chickens. Collette is lovely and very responsive. We would definitely visit again.

Absolute perfection! My sister and I had a wonderful UK trip exploring several cities and Colette's place offered the perfect quiet wind down before flying home to the states. It feels so removed from anywhere busy but, is actually only a half hour from Heathrow. Spotless, which is no small accomplishment for a 600 year old converted barn. There is one walkable pub about 10 minutes away called The Black Swan and the food is exceptional. We enjoyed all the nature trails and cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. The bath is the best and the shower has great water pressure. Beds are super comfy. Horses everywhere were such a treat!! Alan who I believe is the caretaker was a delight to chat with. Highly recommend this place for a lovely relaxing holiday!

We stayed for a few days at the beginning of our UK vacation to visit family. This cottage was perfect for our needs. It is beautifully presented, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and is well located for the airports . Colette was very responsive to my pre-arrival questions and a very friendly host. The farm fresh eggs were wonderful! Thank you for a memorable stay.

Thanks to Colette for hosting us, the location is wonderfully quiet and our 7 year old son loved the wildlife, pheasants, horses and exploring the grounds. Highly recommended!
