Liz and David were phenomenal hosts. From the minute we booked the house, they went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. The house itself is beautiful and an incredible place for a large group of people together. Sound insulation is amazing, meaning that loud teenagers can have lots of fun without dominating the space for everybody else. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linen on them was pristine. The garden is phenomenal. It has everything you need, including huge eating area, an orchard, a large space for playing ball games, stunning plants, and an incredible view beyond. Liz and David couldn’t have been kinder. They left a very generous welcome package of food and drink and continued throughout our stay to be proactive to our needs. For example, They sourced a fire pit and dropped wood outside the door when I mentioned, we might like a fire. Thank you, Liz and David for creating such a beautiful house and garden and making us feel so welcome there.

From start to finish the communication from the host Liz has been amazing. Even down to ringing me the week before our arrival to check on how we would like the beds set up in each room, tips on the local area and anything else we wanted to know. The house was spotless on our arrival and even better than expected. The kitchen was so well equipped there was nothing we needed it didn’t have. Our holiday was made even better by having Ed one of the caterer’s who had been recommend to us by Liz come in on the Saturday to cook us a three course meal and then back again on the Sunday to cook us a bbq. The food was delicious and would highly recommend him and his partner. This is the 16th year me and my friends have been staying in holiday cottages and I can say that this is one of the nicest ones we have stayed at. Thank you Liz for making our break one we will always remember (the unusually hot weather may have helped too as we could enjoy your beautiful garden).

This home is absolutely amazing... I'm unsure where to start so I'll start with the hosts who even pre- booking gave unselfishly of their time to answer any questions I had. Exemplary professionalism from start to our reluctant departure today Liz recommended ELBA car hire (Glen was fantastic) and The Great House (Delicious steak & prawns)and we went for an amazing walk which took us to a golfcourse. The outdoor space is awesome and with the balconies you can enjoy a large gathering or find yourself a nice tranquil spot. Absolute space for all and lending to all tastes of the outdoor...we invited a wellness practitioner over and she also was in awe of the garden and its Zen feel. ( Im not a yoga anything but the flow of outside was lovely) We even got freshly laid eggs!! In the kitchen...there is nothing you could want that wasn't there....we had 2 chefs over and the space and facilities ensured they were comfortable in their work. The lounge area again has lots of space but you could still feel included no matter where you sat. Love the fact that bedrooms had doors to the outside and the bathrooms were all sparkling and stylish. The pillows were divine and there were so many little touches like the drinks dispenser, champagne flutes and of course my birthday cake. You couldn't fault this place if you tried and the hosts really go out of their way to ensure youre 100% satisfied and its a real family effort.( Thanks to your son again for his hospitality) 5* all the way

Astonishing place, very open and spacious with lots of window making the place very bright, we had a total for 21 people adults and children and it was perfect the boys loved the games room and the rest of us enjoyed the house, beautiful open space with an amazing view.
