I have to say that this place far exceeded our expectations. If you have any interest whatsoever in what's inside the ocean, this is the place you absolutely must visit. Get a pair of the provided snorkeling and life vest and kayak gear, and you are minutes away from sticking your head in the best aquarium you've ever seen in your life, except it's as big as the ocean. Every member of staff is all too willing to help you have a more comfortable stay, help you explore the ocean, and help you have the best possible time. Photographs are a perfect representation of your stay, and if you are at all interested in what you see you will not be disappointed. My family and I had an outstanding time.

Anilao is one of the few places in the country where we keep returning because of its natural wonders, and Marian's Place is an excellent choice for a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway. All rooms and living areas have fantastic views of Balayan Bay. While the rooms don't offer air conditioning, this did not stop us from having a very good night's sleep. The night breeze, especially in March, was just right for us to relax at night. The staff is also amazing. Ate Cecilia was accommodating with the cooking, and Nelson was a valuable activity guide for snorkeling, watersports, and island exploration. He also helped us explore the surrounding coral reefs along the beach. We were even lucky to see sharks (small, friendly ones) in a nearby resort! Next time, we hope to see the sea turtles. Our family of six had a fantastic weekend! Thank you for having us.

It was our second time visiting last March 9, 2024. We have been looking forward to go back since the first time we’ve been there. It felt as if their place was our own vacation home because of the warm welcome and accommodation. We made special inquiries prior to our visit and Xandra was so patient in answering all of them. We were surprised and touched at the same time that Manang Cecil and Kuya Nelson remembered our family. Gio and Julia were also very warm and helpful especially during the snorkeling activity, Gio even made us a video montage of our adventure. We love this place so much, we are so excited to go back again.

We had an awesome time at the Airbnb! It was comfy, tidy, and had everything for a great weekend. Big thanks to Marian and Xandra for their quick responses and helpfulness, making our stay hassle-free. Special shoutout to Geo who ensured we tasted the vibrant beach life of Batangas in our short stay. His GoPro video skills captured my underwater adventure without expecting payment, showing genuine passion for making guests' experiences memorable. Nelson, quiet at first but turned out he is the sweetest guy. He guided us to witness sharks, led a snorkeling adventure, and showcased strength by effortlessly handling our luggages to the cottage through those steep stairs. Ate Celia’s culinary magic thrilled us. I felt that we bonded finding ourselves inviting her to meals to have more laughters. Gratitude to the owner for arranging an in-house massage, enhancing our relaxing weekend. We'll definitely return on our next Philippines visit.

Before booking this listing I carefully read the reviews and understood we were in for something special. The accommodations itself is like an outdoor compound. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to the birds and sound of breakfast being made. The snorkeling was epic. When we thought we had had the best day in the water, the following day was even better. The hosts were incredible. Ate Julia took us on a hike up to a beautiful lookout point. Kuya Gio filmed and edited a little video of one of our snorkeling excursions. Kuya Nelson went above and beyond as the care taker/snorkeling guide and Nanay Celia was very accommodating and helpful with all chores. It was like an all-inclusive stay but better. This is a truly special Airbnb.
