We were staying at Sue's with our 3 adult children to celebrate my 60th birthday which involved lots of eating/walking and swimming in the Fleurieu region. Location was perfect for access to Port Willunga Beach and Star of Greece restaurant. Sue was easy to communicate with and it was a very easy mini-break

The good: Beautiful gardens and outdoor sitting space, lovely balcony views, lots of living space indoors too, and second-to-none proximity to the beach plus an outdoor shower for your return. The upstairs "parents retreat" is enormous. Excellent communication from Sue throughout too. The bad: The walls are thin with big glass panels so the house gets hot and the split system AC struggles. The property is dated: doors are literally falling off their hinges, metalwork is rusting and the shower temperature is uncontrollable. The double and twin rooms are very small. The "parents retreat" is not safe for little children because there is minimal barrier over the stairs and no door. Verdict: We had an excellent time, 8 of us staying for just 3 nights. Would recommend for a short getaway.

Our extended family had a wonderful stay enjoying the beautiful natural surrounds so close to the beach. The house is a joy to holiday in with lots of space while still feeling cosy and warm - then there is the views! Sue was great at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Sue :)

We had a fabulous time in Sue's house. Everything worked just fine and everything was clean and set up 'just so'. The house is in a great location and we could easily walk to The Star of Greece for dinner. It all made a memorable weekend. Thanks to Sue.
