We can’t say enough about the quality of the hosts or of our accommodations. Alex and Karen were so responsible throughout our visit, making us feel not only like guests but also like new friends. They had great recommendations, fascinating stories about the history of the area, and were quick to respond to all of our questions. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home: for example, I forgot my tea ball for loose leaf tea and they quickly offered their French press as an alternative. The rooms were lovely, and the kitchen was so well equipped. They left cheese straws, banana bread, and nuts in the room for us, which were a wonderful and unexpected treat. It’s only a short drive or Lyft ride to all local attractions whether downtown or Sullivan’s Island, Boone Hall, or wherever you plan to roam. You will be hard pressed to find better hosts for a better value in a better location!
