When you step inside you find a beautiful open floor plan that connects the dining room, living room, and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and utensils. There's also plenty of counter and cabinet space for all your cooking needs. This home features 4 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs you will find the master bedroom down the hall with a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom downstairs and has access to a full bathroom in the hallway next to the large storage closet. Upstairs the two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub. The upstairs bedrooms are equipped with a queen bed and two twin beds. Additionally, there is a second living space off the kitchen downstairs equipped with a sleeper sofa. The washer and dryer are located in the second living space. In the backyard you will find a beautiful large private deck. The deck has an outdoor dining table, a grill for cooking, and plenty of room to spread out. Relax and enjoy the wonderfully landscaped yard with a large 9 foot privacy fence. The backyard is anchored by a unique historic live oak tree that has grown uniquely since Hurricane Gracie in 1959. Absolutely fantastic stay at this Charleston home! The hosts are so communicative and quick to respond. The house itself was perfect. From the modern decor to the spacious layout, it was perfect for our family getaway. The spacious and manicured backyard was a big highlight for us, and being dog and baby-friendly made it even better. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the location was exactly what we were looking for—close to beaches, restaurants and everything else we wanted to explore. It was a wonderful neighborhood and we were able to walk to a lot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish retreat in Charleston!
I was so lucky to find 1432 Barbara St - they were extremely helpful in getting me out of a terrible Airbnb, same day. The home itself is incredible - they've gone above and beyond with finishes throughout. The furniture is new, tasteful and clean. This home is as ready-to-move-in as I've ever found in an AirBnb stay. This should be the standard for AirBnbs. There's no indication that it ever doubles as anyone's full time residence so it provides more of a home/long term stay, experience. Cannot recommend this location enough - centrally located to anything and everything you need. A lovely starter-home type neighborhood so it's safe - neighbors walk the streets, greet people etc. All appliances, the facilities, and the responsiveness of the house-manager make this the most incredible AirBnb experience I've ever had.

The Old Village is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in old Mt. Pleasant! The neighborhood has amazing scenic locations such as the historic Pitt Street Bridge with panoramic views of Charleston, Pitt Street shops and restaurants, Alhambra Hall, several parks, and adjacent to beautiful Shem Creek. Sullivans Island and its beaches are about a 5 minute car ride, and you can be downtown in less than 15 minutes. You cannot beat the Old Village!
