Our family just returned from a perfect stay at this lovely home which was exactly as described. Pat is the perfect host. She answered every question we had beforehand and met us after we landed to check in and show us around. The house is very clean, comfortable and exactly like the pictures. It is well equipped for large family meals inside or out using the bbq and eating in the cute tiki bar by the canal. The canal was great for swimming. A great added bonus was the paddle boards, kayaks etc. We had hours of fun exploring the canal networks nearby. The beach is just across the street. It is a beautiful sandy cove with calm shallow waters and felt like its our own private beach. Theres a beach bar on the beach and Island Seas has a coffee bar. Port Lucaya is 5 minutes in the car. I can’t say enough good things about the house and Pat.

We booked Pat’s place for a reunion with family. We came there excited and so looking forward to our stay. We noticed that the house was pretty infested with multiple different kinds of bugs but as a fellow host did not want to complain. We ended up having to check out early and scramble to find a new place last minute when the bed bug bites became overwhelming. We did our best to make it work but when showing Pat all of the bugs and bites she showed no compassion, and even kept our money for the remaining nights we did not stay and had to pay for another hotel last minute. We are still using scar cream to try to lessen the scars from so many bites. I strongly hope Pat tent’s her house for vermin asap and gets rid of the mattresses. The house is extremely old and hasn’t been tented in potentially decades. Home maintenance on air b n b is part of hosting. Deeply disappointed with this experience and with Pat as a host :(

The location was great! We could easily access the surrounding beaches. We rented a car for the week which was perfect. We could explore all the surrounding beaches, to grocery shopping, drive the island, etc. the house was fully equipped with what we needed to cook our meals. Both Pat and Ivan were attentive and responded promptly. It was a lovely stay! Highly recommend!
