Loved our stay. The Cottage was beautifully decorated and so very well equipped. The garden was so tranquil and a lovely place to sit and catch the evening sun. Roderick and Claire could not have been more pleasant and helpful communication was excellent. We would definitely recommend and hopefully will return for another lovely week. A charming place to stay. The garden is amazing and we could only imagine what it must be like to visit in the summer and bask out in the sunshine there. Great communication with Roderick and Claire - who couldn't be there when we arrived, but the instructions and information provided meant we were able to get in and sort ourselves out without any problems. It's small and cosy downstairs. The bedroom is large and airy and overlooks the beautiful garden. We didn't want for anything - well equipped, peaceful and comfortable. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our stay, as did Winnie (our dog). Top tip - Exiting onto the road can be a bit tricky, visibility isn't great, but there's a mirror across the road so you can see for traffic coming down the hill (sometimes faster than it should be).

Lovely spot. Very peaceful and a great place to relax for a few days. Roderick was very helpful when we had a problem with the TV and it was sorted very quickly. Would recommend.

Absolutely perfect for a long weekend with our dog. There are a lovely walk around the village and stunning church as well as a longer one through a nature reserve to the coast. There are two dog friendly beaches (one sandy, one pebbly) about 3m away. The cottage is superbly cosy, warm and houses a great selection of books. The garden is beyond words. The terrace is secluded, facing south and can be enclosed if your dog is of the exploring kind.
