Really lovely place to stay. Only downside is that the gym, swimming pool has a booking system that we did not know about until we were there, we therefore couldn’t get to use, which was the reason we booked. I think this could be communicated before booking so you can log on before your stay. The apartment is very nice though and location great for a stay in Suffolk

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience staying at the flat due to no heating, a problem with the toilet Sistine and no hot water on the Monday morning before we left. I had to call the agency overseeing the flat during our stay 4-5 times to try and resolve the heating and water. On our arrival we needed to put the heating on as it was set to 18 degrees and was very chilly. I was staying with my elderly parents ( 84 & 86 ) and they were very cold. I followed the instructions in the file and called the agency but the temperature of the flat never got beyond 19 degrees the whole weekend. At around 10.30 pm on the Saturday night a few hours after we arrived the toilet flush was over filling and making a lot of noise. In the end the agency sent a plumber who arrived around 11.30pm and I had to wait up for him after a very long day of driving. He wasn't able to fix the issue but returned the following morning while we were out and replaced a part. On Monday morning there was no hot water at all and none of us could bath. Also the flat is advertised as having a swimming pool. However on arrival we had to book for a slot and there were no slots available. The £130 cleaning fee is astronomical for a 2 nights stay and was only apparent once we had completes the booking. All in all it was stressful and not good experience. I called the agency on Tuesday and said that we would like a refund which they said they would sort out once they had spoken with you. They asked me not to write a review on airbnb. No one got back in touch and I have called 3 times since speaking to different people who affirmed that they would get back to later that day or the following day. No one called back and there is still no resolve. In addition the flat is advertised as being Ann's place and you think your are corresponding with here but in fact is an agency- If i had known this i would not have booked.

Good, rural location and a nice apartment but access to the leisure facilities was very difficukt.

Beautiful property, exactly as described and in a wonderful location. It had everything we needed and was very spacious for our family of four. We only managed to book a swimming slot for one of the days, but it was a lovely sized pool and very clean. We also booked the games room was fun! Thank you so much for letting us stay - we will be back one day!
