Elena and Eric were fantastic hosts and we are so happy to have spent five nights in Quito with them and their family. Eric picked us up for the airport and provided us a great overview of the city as we came into Quito. Their house is situated in a desirable and safe neighborhood north of the old town with plenty of restaurants and a fantastic bakery across the street. The view from their apartment is stunning and the room was clean and had everything we needed. When we were leaving to go to Otavalo, Elena was nice enough to drive us to the bus station as well!

My time at Elena's place was fantastic! Her family speaks english, spanish, and french and were extremely friendly. Elena made coffee every morning which was great and the view and the fresh mountain air was breathtaking. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. Would definitely get the room again in the future.

Lena and her family are lovely guests. Their place is on the 7th floor on a mountain ridge and the view of the city on the valley floor is just hard to believe. Their neighborhood sports several nice restaurants and the pastries shop in the bottom of their building has real cream horns among other fine treats. Lena knows her city well and is always attempting go help encourage tourism both within Quito as well as the wider Ecuador. I will go again.
