Superb location for exploring Santa Barbara. Excellent walkability to beaches, restaurants, and downtown area. With the bus stop right outside the house and an e-bike rental directly across the street, there really isn’t a need for a rental vehicle. Ian was a dream host, very friendly and communicative. Winter was a great opportunity to explore the area without the large crowds, especially when making reservations at restaurants. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend!

My stay was exceptional! I immediately felt at home and settled. The hosts are five star to say the least. Location is everything and this place was perfectly situated near everything that makes Santa Barbara a destination city. The hosts live downstairs but I never felt intruded upon. But I always knew they were there for me when I needed. I can't thank them enough for making my time there everything I needed, and more.

Could not have asked for a better Airbnb to spend a month while visiting Santa Barbara. The place was perfect: full (and well stocked w/equipment) kitchen, comfy bed, plenty of closet space, great desk for remote work setup, plus a nice balcony to lounge with a view of the ocean. The best part has got to be location though, <10min walk to the beach, and about a mile or so from downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood so never any noise issues. Hosts were the best - always had great recs and local tips and tricks. Worth every penny, and hope to return in the future!

Lived in Santa Barbara for 10 years at west beach a few blocks from the beach and was back for a visit. Ian's place for my wife and I was absolutely perfect! Accommodations were very comfortable, quiet, and clean. It has a great work desk to be able to set up a few screens for a computer and work away if you like! The view was fabulous. Great location to walk through SBCC which has the best views of any college around. The location is very walkable to the beaches, the harbor, the Funk Zone, and State Street. Just an overall great experience, and to top it off, Ian is a great host, responsive, friendly, and makes you feel very welcome like a great friend. Next visit we would not consider anywhere else to stay. 5 Stars+

This was our second stay and we were greeted warmly with everything ready to enjoy. Great people, great views, all-round excellent. Thanks again Ian, Rowena, and the kids!
