Very nice spot up in the hills. Just 12 mins to Fiskardo and 4 min to Maganos with grocery store and restaurants. House was clean and kitted out.

The location of this villa is spectacular - incredible 360 degree views - we have stayed in many airBNBs and this is the best located property we have ever stayed in. There are some wonderful beaches within easy driving distance. The local team are friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any queries or issues. We would happily book a villa managed by Freelance Villas again. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking basic meals. We loved the local village - the tavernas were good and the local fruit and veg shop was great - the home made yoghurt was spectacular. The pool is lovely. The entire property was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The bathrooms could do with updating but they are perfectly functional and there was always plenty of hot water. Although the local village is close, we decided that walking was not sensible as the local roads are narrow and windy - when hiring a car, a small one is most practical!

Such a stunning position with breathtaking views all around! Beautiful spot for relaxing and enjoying the outdoor space. We were there in the heat of August so it was too hot to walk to the closest village for tavernas and mini mart, but in cooler temperatures that would be possible. A car is needed to get around but there are countless beautiful beaches and spots to visit within short distances. The communication and attention to any issues arising was faultless. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Kefalonia.

The location & views are breathtaking. The Villa is clean and there is lots of room both inside and out. We didn’t meet the owner or the agent, but everything ran smoothly and communication was easy and responses were quick. The nearby beaches are spectacular and anyone who enjoys sea swimming is in for a treat. Highly recommended.

A great villa in a stunning location - we couldn't get enough of the spectacular views! The location was great for us, remote enough to spend quiet, relaxing days by the pool but just a few minutes drive to local amenities including some lovely restaurants and the local mini-markets that are well stocked with everything you'll need. The villa is lovely and the main living area and bedrooms are modern and well equipped. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated and small compared to the generous size of the villa overall, but both impeccably clean and with everything we needed for the stay - it didn't detract from the holiday at all. The pool area is beautiful, private and enclosed. The pool was clean and the perfect size for our family of 3 to enjoy for the week. The communication from Freelance Holidays was superb, with lots of tips and info in advance and a welcome message to ensure we were settling in ok. There was even a welcome pack in the fridge including wine, beer, juice, crisps, water. A couple of things to be aware of, but not negatives for the villa itself... In summer wasps are a real hassle...so much so that we literally couldn't eat outside of the villa and enjoy the beautiful setting as the minute we took food outside we were bombarded! It was the same at restaurants though many places burn greek coffee in little pots to try and deter them...a little hit and miss and we came home smelling of smoke! Be prepared for the trip from the airport. I've been to Kefalonia once (pre-kids!) before so knew it was a mountainous trip up to the North, with often narrow roads and lots of hairpin bends! The scenery on route is spectacular but I hadn't factored in what it would be like with a 5-year old! She felt quite sick and unhappy most of the trip so the 80 min journey wasn't too much fun! All in all, we had a fantastic trip and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa, or booking through Freelance Holidays.
