Woodhaven is a three bedroom house on Indian Arm Pond just off the TCH. Woodhaven has 2 bedrooms (1 Q, 1 Db.) for AirBnB. The third room is our live in bedroom. The house was been totally rebuilt in 2012 and it is 1600 sq. ft. We live in the house and have our own room a washroom. Guests have their own washroom, rooms, and access to all the property. We have 2 wood stoves, electric heat, washer, dryer, free WiFi, (website hidden). This is a remote location in the heart of Central Newfoundland on the TC Trail, 15 drive minutes from the ocean and 1 hour drive from Twillingate and icebergs, whales. The Wolf Art and Moose Art Rooms are newly furnished and very comfortable cozy rooms, with loons calling on the lake. We also have a TC Certified Mussel Bed Tour Boat ((website hidden)) that can be chartered to visit the historic, resettled community of Exploits Island, do ocean fishing, search for whales, Icebergs, visit seabird colonies and spectacular ,pristine scenery in the "Caribbean of the North"!

Great host great place
We were very welcomed by our hosts. The neighborhood was quiet and remote. The sunrises and sunsets were quite lovely. Graham and Susan were engaging and knowledgable about attractions and culture of NF. While the beds were comfortable, the rooms were very small and there was no private space for guests. The bathroom was inconveniently located in relation to the bedrooms. Breakfasts were good.
We had a wonderful time at Graham and Susan's. The location of their house is beautiful and our rooms were very comfortable. The best thing about our stay were Graham and Susan themselves. They were very friendly, made us delicious breakfast and dinner (delicious cod and lobster!) and helped us to make some plans for our time there. It truely felt like home.
If possible, would rate this location an 11!! Graham & Susan are consummate hosts, making us immediately feel like old friends. The view is stunning, accommodations excellent and Graham's information about the local area is encyclopedic!!
Very informative host. Excellent breakfast. Like going to a really nice cottage. Well located for going to the islands North.

Indian Arm Lake East has 13 cottages / homes, with great helpful neighbors. The cottages are mainly occupied in the summer months but some live here for most of the year. This is relaxation heaven with little noise and lots of wildlife to see in the area as you walk along the many trails in the area. Loons swim by our windows and the fishing for trout and salmon is fantastic during the seasons. The lake and Campbellton River is one of the best fishing areas in Eastern Canada and NL. Stay and enjoy the close proximity to the Exploits (30 min.) and Gander Rivers (15 min.) which offer some the best Atlantic salmon fishing rivers in the world.
Gander International Airport is 35 minutes away. Bus transportation by DRL is available in Lewisporte daily. Free parking.

Susan and I enjoy meeting other travelers as we have done extensive traveling ourselves. We are retired educators in the school systems of NL, BC.,NWT. and Manitoba. We have three children who work and reside in the USA. We spend our Summer and Fall here on the Rock and California in the Winter and Spring.
