I am losing count of the number of times we have returned to the delightful Pickle Cottage. From the moment you step through the door you feel relaxed and at home. The standards of comfort and cleanliness have never diminished and the grounds and lake could easily be at a high end country hotel. Guy and Claire are wonderful hosts, totally committed to providing the best guest experience. Tenterden is a charming country town and we also paid our regular visit to Chapel Down Winery for an excellent lunch. We stopped at Miss Mollets High tearoom in Appledore for the first time for a delicious bacon sandwich, but managed not to be tempted by the array of gateaux and scones. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is an easy drive and well worth the visit.

Clare and Guy were great hosts. Greeted us when we arrived and around if we had issues. Pickle Cottage was just as described, very clean and comfortable in a nice quiet location. And we had a nice visit from Kate the cockapoo making sure we were ok. Would definitely visit again.

Pickle cottage is cozy and has a lovely garden. We spent one week and would have loved to stay longer. Clare and Guy are super host, friendly, always available.. and they have a wonderful dog Kate who came to say hello and good night most days.. We will book again when travelling to Kent

Clare was really helpful with recommendations and the cottage was well equipped. Situated in a very private and quiet area, with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely return.
