Big and delicious breakfast! The room was clean and with a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner suggested us places to visit and organized a tuk tuk to the tea factory, little Adams Peak and to the waterfall. The only thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi connection inside the rooms.

This was by far the most spectacular view we have ever had from an air bnb room, the views of Ella's Rock and Ella's Gap were breathtaking. It was a 15min walk or short tuk tuk ride into the busy Ella centre. The room was clean and very comfortable. Mr Wijesundara and his family were very welcoming hosts, we were given a cup of tea and delicious home baked cake on arrival and their daughter was very sweet and kindly helped us fathom the toaster! The breakfasts are overwhelmingly generous and cost an additional 400r each.

Great location in the mountains with amazing views from the upper rooms. However, it is not one of those cosy home stays (like described on Airbnb). There are at least 6 other rooms that are rented. Feels more like a hostel. It is the same as the "Lucky Star" Hotel that can. E found on other websites. Upon arrival the host wanted to sell us a better room with better view for an additional charge. That doesn't feel very nice when you are just arriving. Breakfast is NOT included, but can be purchased for 2-3 dollar. It was plenty with fruits, toast, tea, coffee etc... In general it is a nice place, but if you are looking for a typical Sri Lankan homestay, this is not the right place.

On top of the hill with great scenery. Authentic sri Lankan dinner provided. Lights in the room rather dim but no issue for one night stay.
