The house is really peaceful and private. Check in was really easy and Maria welcomed us and showed us around. The pool is great. We used it twice each day. There are some nice restaurants in town and the best was the sunset beach bar. Theologos is close to butterfly valley and the petting zoo, which was a lot of fun. The beach is for kite surfing and wind surfing, windy but warm. For a sunbathing beach head to the other side which is only 30 mins by car. The town is a little dominated by the power station, but it did not impact us and we had a great time. The house was really clean and comfortable. There is one bedroom and others can sleep in the living area. Maria was a very kind and helpful host. She really helped us out on our last day with a few self imposed problems and we very much appreciate that. Thanks Maria!

Cudny domek z cudnym ogrodem. Jesteśmy pod ogromnym wrażeniem z pobytu w domku Marii. Gospodyni niezwykle miła i pomocna. Czekała na nas w domu aż przyjedziemy z lotniska. Oprowadziła nas po domku i ogrodzie. Dużym zaskoczeniem była w pełni wyposażona lodówka. W kuchni znajdziesz wszystkie sprzęty. Łazienka wyposażona w kosmetyki, ręczniki, suszarkę do włosów. Ogród i basen to strzał w dziesiątkę. Ogromny plus to prywatność, cicha i spokojna okolica ale równocześnie wszędzie blisko (restauracje, sklepy, plaża, Dolina motyli czy chociażby lotnisko). Szczerze polecamy dla rodzin z dziećmi.

Maria, the host, was very very friendly; in the fridge was enough of food and drink for one or two days, she organized our drive from and to the airport, she cleaned the pool every 3 days, she also bought us gifts on our way home. The house with the garden and pool was also very beautiful and spacious. But there is an electricity factory very near. The black soot from the smoke was everywhere (on the ground, in the pool, on the tables), so you have to clean it all the time. This can only be a problem in August. I don’t know. Maybe is important to emphasize that there was a mother of three babies which came at the house and asked for food every day. We gave her the food but quickly found out that was not such a good idea because she brought all her babies in front of the house. Very nice and charming little cats were playing everywhere. This can be sweet if you are used to small cats, but also very demanding if you want to have some peace 😊. The bus station to Rhodes city, the coast and the kite and surfing station are 5 minutes walk away. The market where you can buy everything you need is 10 minutes walk away. The car rental is 15 minutes walk away.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Maria's Cottage. Maria is a very friendly and welcoming host and she clearly values her guests and wants to ensure they have a wonderful holiday. She regualarly checked that we were okay and whether we needed anything and she even left some breakfast essentials for us the evening we arrived. (And a bottle of wine and ouzo! Thank you!) The house is very clean and tidy and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It is one of the very few places in the area to have its own pool which was a real bonus for us. Pool area, house and garden are lovely and spacious and the house is well away from the road so it is nice and quiet.

Wir können Maria und ihren Mann nur weiter empfehlen. Sehr schönes Häuschen, klein aber fein. Gepflegter Garten mit Pool. Perfekte Lage um in Ruhe zu wohnen aber die Insel erkunden zu können. Perfekte Gastgeber. Waren im Oktober da und hatten immer noch sehr schönes Wetter. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die einzigen unangenehmen Geräusche, waren ab und zu der Lärm der Flugzeuge. Aber auch daran gewöhnt man sich irgendwann.
