An absolut stunning place with the most gorgeous views. Paul and the stuff have been amazing and made our stay extra comfortable. Rooms are super spacious and comfortable. An extra plus were the brand new ACs. Food is great and always plenty.

The Saffron House is a unique property. The grounds are expansive, filled with coconut trees and flowers, and are regularly visited by peacocks. The villa is impeccably clean and kept in perfect order. The location, between two great beaches, is perfect. Host Paul was very responsive and helpful when we made the booking and we as available throughout. The property team led by Chris is great and very attentive. We were there with our three young children and they assisted us with our multiple daily needs, always playful and helpful with the children. Chris and Ann are terrific cooks and we ate like kings every day, be it local or Western food. We certainly hope to be back with the family as soon as we can!

We had a wonderful time at the Saffron House. It is one of these places where you can switch into a relax mode within seconds. Thank you Chris and team for making our vacation an outstanding experience. And thank you for the delicious curries, egghoppers, pol sambola, Egg Kottu, ....and endless list of great tastes. If you are looking for a beautiful beach holiday in Sri Lanka, we can highly recommend the Saffron House.

We had a really lovely time at Saffron house. The house was beautiful, arranged with a central outdoor lounge with the most comfortable extra large sofas great for hanging out in the evening. The location was perfect, at the top of the hill, walking distance from two very different but equally stunning beaches - Dickwella ( walks and playing in the sea) and Hirikitiya (surfing and chilling in beach bars). When we were not on the beach there was the pool to lie around and swim. Chris and her team were very friendly and helpful and made us the most gorgeous food everyday. Thoroughly recommend Saffron House.
