I married my best friend on a beach in Mexico, rode bicycles with the locals on the streets of Beijing, hiked the hill towns of the Cinque Terra in Italy, explored 12th century Cambodian temples, swam with sharks in Bora Bora, been offered a beer on the Great Wall, sat 5 feet from wild orangutans in the Sumatran jungle, found heaven in the Alps of Switzerland, played with baby elephants in Thailand, tried speaking Arabic to shopkeepers in Marrakech, found pura vida in Costa Rica, saw what a wall can do in Berlin, marveled at Eiffel's Tower, experienced Dutch tolerance in Amsterdam, walked the Cliffs of Mohr, hiked Machu Picchu, screamed on a bobsled down the Olympic track in Innsbruck, rode a camel on the beach in Abu Dhabi, meandered through the Siq to witness Petra's beauty, shopped my way through Istanbul's Grand Bazar, sipped port in Porto, danced until 6am in Ibiza, walked the malecón in Havana, drove the entire ring road in Iceland, sunbathed nude in Mallorca, went swimming in Lake Como, played in the sand at the Great Pyramids of Giza, ate my way through Singapore, climbed up to the Batu Caves in Kaula Lumpur, found a place to retire in Ubud, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef, saw what our earth is made of on top of Acatenango Volcano in Guatamala, and most recently looked up at Jesus in Rio de Janeiro.
