Both Joep and Miranda were wonderful hosts, very responsive, attentive, and kind. The homemade apricot confiture and daily fresh bread and croissants were a delight! The bungalow was perfect to spend 4 nights disconnecting and visiting nearby towns. We were so comfortable that ended up extending our trip an additional night. We look forward to visiting in summer in order to enjoy the pool! Thank you again Joep and Miranda!

The gite Limoux is the ideal place for a carefree relaxing holiday. The covered terrace with lots of privacy and the beautifully landscaped swimming pool with a view of sunflower fields and vineyards are oases of peace. The tastefully decorated gite with great attention to detail and authenticity offers all the comfort you could wish for during a holiday. Miranda and Joep are very friendly and hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make the stay of their guests optimal. We appreciated the daily bread service and also the weekly table d'hote is definitely recommended. Numerous beautiful excursions in the wider surroundings such as Lagrasse, Narbonne, Nébias (labyrinth) and Espéraza just to name a few.

The house is amazingly beautiful and perfectly clean. The hosts have thought in every single detail that you can imagine. It is perfect for families since there are other 5 houses around, games for kids and a beautiful pool. It is therefore not very private and you will be sharing the common spaces with other people.

What a fantastic place! Miranda and her husband Joep have made the Domaine de la Bade into. True ‘bijou’. The views, the pool, landscaping, tastefully decorated Gîtes with all amenities even beds with heads and feet that go up and down- the wonderful welcome basket with homemade jam - and daily bread delivery with ability to order honey from their bees and olive oil from their trees, To the advice on what to do and where to go all made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to give us good advice on house hunting in the area too. We spent a wonderful week there, and we will be back!! Charlene and Alan

Joep and Miranda made us feel very welcome from the start. We were really delighted to be greeted by a handwritten sign and a glass of jam upon our arrival. The apartment is one part of a former barn or maintenance building and it is very tastefully renovated and furnished. Our hosts were so thoughtful to turn the heating on before our arrival because the weather was quite chilly. The apartment has two terraces, one with antique furniture under a roof and the second right in front with a stunning view over valleys and vineyards. The domaine is situated outside the village on a hill, very peaceful and with great vistas, the reason I actually chose this accommodation for. In the kitchen you'll find all the tools and pots to cook up a feast, the brand new stove and oven certainly call for it. There's also a BBQ outside. Our hostess paid us a special visit to give us some tips and advice for the area. I'm glad she did, because I would have missed the beautiful book village Montolieu otherwise. Last but not least: the bed is a dream and you will end your holiday well rested for sure.
