Beautifull rustic old house in a forest setting. waterfront short walk away from the house. Owner was nearby if you need anything very friendly had a great time thank you.

We spent a wonderful four days at the house. More than a half-dozen beaches are within a short drive, the enclosed patio is perfect for enjoying a quiet afternoon without the bugs and the home itself is quite spacious. It's a perfect place for families.

We loved your home Bob & Marilyn!!! Not to mention your warm hospitality. Every window you look out to see greenery. We had deer steps from the door in the early morning, so quiet, and peaceful. Minutes from so many amazing beaches and cafes....we loved the Riverbank and the Port Café...we also loved driving down to Barrington for warm beaches and Capt Kat's had great food. Crescent and Risser's beach awesome! LaHave a great lil visit and the nearby ferry makes the trip towards Lunenburg super fast! Aside from mosquitoes which is a Canuck thing this time of year.....the trip was wonderful and we loved it! Thank you! Jen, Bob & Justin (Toronto, ON)

It's a very comfortable home! There was plenty of room for our family of five, and we loved the screen porch and access to the water.

This is a wonderful old house with all the character of a home built at this time (1920-ish) but with all the amenities of a modern house. It was perfect for my family of 5. Lots of space for the kids. The screened in deck and BBQ were great to have. It was a perfect home base for us. We did day trips to 6 different beaches and to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Cherry Hill beach was only 5 min from the house and was a magnificent beach!
