Rained a lot so we couldn’t swim or bushwalk. We were cold in the cabin and couldn’t take advantage of any of the outdoor amenities. Needs a fireplace inside to enjoy during the bad weather

We had a great experience staying at Peter's place. The rainforest, the birds and the sound of the waterfall was amazing. Sad to leave our little getaway and return home. Peter was very very helpful and was only a phone call away if needed (we didnt need to). We will definitely be back and stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the barn. It's not fancy but it's clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The barn is in the forest surrounded by nature so there's going to be the odd cobweb and some leaves on the deck. We loved the firepit area, relaxing at night looking up at the stars. But the real highlight is the incredibly beautiful creek and swimming hole. You can really let go and lose yourself in nature down there. You can feel the love Peter and his family have for this special piece of land. Thanks for sharing it with us. We look forward to coming and staying again.

It was a pleasure staying at Peter's place. Peter provided clear instructions for finding the address, then greeted us to give a quick tour of the accommodation and make some local recommendations, but we were otherwise undisturbed. The rainforest was on our doorstep, and it was just a short walk to the featured swimming hole. While the water was a bit chilly for swimming during our stay, we enjoyed splashing around at the edges with the pup, and a relaxed cheese & wine overlooking the water from the deck. The barn itself had ample space, and was stocked with plenty of bedding, board games and kitchen essentials to stay in, while Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads were only half an hour's drive away.
