We're locals who live here in La Jolla. We had a flood at our home just before Christmas and needed a place to stay other than the hotel we spent a week living in. Enter Ken & property manager Josh to the rescue! Our primary initial concern was to find a great place to spend Christmas Eve and Day with our 4 children. On just 24-hrs notice, Ken made it happen and I can't express how much it meant to us. We've had a wonderful Christmas in this gorgeous property, as well as New Year's Eve. The property itself is even better than advertised with tons of space and a luxury feel throughout. Maybe the most impressive part is the service provided not just by Ken, but also the extremely attentive property manager Josh. They have both exceeded expectations from the moment we were able to book our stay. I've hit the 1k character limit for a review, so bottom line: this place is a 10 out of 10 and the people hosting it are even better than that! Bravo & THANK YOU from our entire family!

What a delightful place and experience. It’s a luxurious oasis - to get away and fully decompress w family. The property manager Josh is super helpful and extremely responsive. We will def love to visit again!

Ken's place is the real deal. I stayed here with a group of family and friends and the space was perfect. It was well-stocked, clean, and had comfortable beds. The property manager, Josh, was extremely helpful and had the answer to any request no matter how small. It's clear that Ken and Josh actually care about their guests and the property. We had a great time using the pool and hot tub, playing tennis, pickleball, and billiards, and cooking a few meals in the updated kitchen. The location is also amazing - a short drive to pretty much anywhere in San Diego. If you are looking for high end airbnbs in this area, this is the one. Thanks again to Ken and Josh for a great stay!
