Heavenly stay. The cottage was just as described, but cuter in person. Everything inside is well thought-out and tasteful - I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean as well. Dave was very friendly and responsive, and helpful with any questions that came up. I cooked up some great meals in the simple kitchen! Felt like stepping back in time…cannot wait to return to this exquisite dwelling.

Our stay at David's place was fantastic. We were exceedingly grateful to not only have the opportunity to stay nearby to our family in Chester Springs, but also to experience the historic charm of this property. David was a welcoming and attentive host, and the attention that he has put into restoring the property without losing its character is evident in so may of its small details. We especially enjoyed reading about the history of the house, which connects to our family's history, as well. Looking forward to returning. We give this property our highest rating.

Rustic spring house. I enjoyed my stay - We did not spend much time there - but the cottage was very nice. I was a little confused when I walked into the kitchen - it was dark so I could only see the kitchen and not how to get to the rest of the house. Once we found the lights we figured out the way upstairs and to the 3rd floor. I would stay again. David was responsive with our questions. The cottage was clean and it was very quiet there. wish we could have enjoyed the location - spent our time at the dog show.

We LOVE this cottage! It’s simple, relaxing, dog friendly and has historical charm. The decor and style of modern amenities complement the historical features of the cottage. For the most part, my husband and I don’t leave the property. We do outrageously indulgent things like, read actual books, play board games, drink coffee, talk, and for extra excitement, use the wood burning stove (which, I am a pro at by now). Looking forward to out next long weekend getaway!
