This is a truly wonderful place, a hidden gem in the Thai countryside. Villa de Siam is a series of pavilions set around multiple lakes, each uniquely decorated with art collected from around the world. It's most certainly worth the trip and you won't be disappointed.

This was my second visit to Mayuri's. As is was before, a wonderful visit. I was in in total happiness ... everything was perfect ... the location, the lovely grounds and buildings, the food, the staff, Tawan the white dog, and many smiles and laughter with my very special host, Mayuri. Other guest were visiting and their reactions was similar ... there is nothing like this in all of Thailand. A magical place which is worth a visit!

Before we have arrived here we doubt the comments we saw, since they are too good to believe. After we arrived in Mayuri's villa, we found all comments and pictures do not describe the reality - this is an incredible gorgeous and beautiful place! We were speechless while standing there, the landscape design, all trees, flowers, alleys, houses... and so many fine details of architecture and inner decoration, you definitely feel like in Royal garden or Paradise. We are a mixed couple from Berlin and Beijing, along with Chinese mother-in-law we have spent 3 nights there in two villas, our houses are surrounded by lovely plants and pond. We walked around the whole garden the whole day, next day another hidden path still surprise us. The price included 3 meals served with nice table layout and elegant cutlery. The breakfast is western style, lunch and dinner are traditionally Thai food. Believe me, you don't find better Thai food than this - authentic, fresh and tasty! Two cooking ladies are very lovely and they tried their best to help. How to describe Mayuri and Pete? You don't find a better host than them! I asked so many questions before we arrive, and the staff called them many the times during our stay, i was afraid we were too disturbing, however, they solved everything and they truly warm your heart! The driver and massager Mayuri arranged are both nice as well. There is absolute nothing to complain. This place is for people who are looking for nature, silence and inner-peace. No restaurants, no bars, no shopping, no night life. We borrowed their bicycle and went to the villages and rice field, but most of the time we enjoyed staying here. We have seen some many good things in Asia and Europe, this is the only place we want to come back again.
