We had a wonderful weekend at the Dawson Lake house. We enjoy the quiet serenity and the nature! beautiful home and would recommend to anyone.

Overall, this is a superb off-the-grid location, offering a respite from industrial EMF. There’s an ample supply of firewood and tinder, which is a thoughtful touch, although the fireplace itself is somewhat small. The home’s entertainment technology could use an update. The clubhouse is very nice, and the fishing opportunities are excellent — I even caught a bass on my first cast! This location was enjoyable during the winter season, but I anticipate it would be even better in late spring, summer, and early fall. The beds are small and would benefit from new comforters and pillows. Additionally, the main living room sofa could use an upgrade. In summary, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning with a larger group for a summer retreat or a similar event.

I can’t say enough great things about Ricks’s property. It is an amazing location and the house and amenities are just incredible. It is like staying at your own mountain estate with complete privacy and a wonderful setup both at the house and the lake and pool area. Everything was just awesome. I will keep this on my list to stay whenever I need a fantastic getaway to the mountains. Just a top notch experience.

I cannot find sufficient words to describe how really wonderful our stay was at Rick’s place. The property is stunning, the lake is stunning, the pool is, guess what? stunning. The architecture of the house is intriguing I spent a fair amount of time staring at the ceiling to be honest. We loved everything about our stay, the home was clean and well-stocked, Mark was super friendly and knowledgeable when we met him at the pool area, everything was just brilliant. This is the first time ever that we have rented a space and not one of us wanted to ditch early to come home. Our adult children were asking us on day 2 when we could return. Our dogs had a banging time in the lake, so much so that our Ada sprained her tail with joy. They, the dogs, are now insisting we build a lake at home. Rick was super flexible with us and we so much appreciate everything. We cannot wait to come back if Rick will have us.
