Quiet location easy walk to shops. Pool was great for a dip! Janine was very friendly and helpful.

Janine was quite welcoming and shared her local knowledge. The gardens were lovely and it was close to the town. Unfortunately, the accomodation was tired and needed freshening up. The bathroom door didn’t close which was a big problem. While there were fresh flowers and fruit and items for breakfast, the cereals and beverages were not fresh and the utensils and kitchen items needed cleaning. The microwave and toaster also need an update and couldn’t be used at the same time due to electrical short circuiting. It was also hard to access the cottage from the street as the side gate didn’t open fully and the stairs were quite damaged and unsafe. Janine has a lovely space to share but it’s in need of updating and cleaning to be the enjoyable and comfortable stay that was promised.

Janine greeted us with a warm friendly welcome and she and her historic home made us feel relaxed and at home 🌻 Pretty fresh picked flowers inside were lovely and her garden viewed from the verandah is beautiful and added to the privacy feel to the home A bit of a shame the whole time of our stay it was raining and too cold to use the garden pool although using that amazing pool - bath , shower inside definitely made up for it We also did a car trip to near by Dorrigo and enjoyed walking around Belligen shops and enjoying the food at the local restaurants and Cafes All in all just what we wanted for a relaxing time in Bello
