This AirBnB is beautiful, isolated, and provides the best sunset view in Folegandros! It looks like the photos, and Severine was a responsive host. It’s the perfect stay if you want to disconnect from daily life and be in nature. There’s no / minimal cell network and Wifi (which is often a good thing on holidays!). We were part of a wedding group, so not having reception made planning a bit difficult. The host did provide a dongle, but it was intermittent. You definitely need a car or quad bike. We hired quads, and then taxi’s when we had our luggage, plus going to / from the wedding. The taxi company doesn’t drive the whole way to the accommodation because it’s an unsealed road, it stops near the church and you need to walk. There’s understandably no air con, as it’s an eco place powered by solar. We were fine during the day, but our group struggled to sleep at night as it was hot. Adding portable fans to the bedrooms would help.

We had a wonderful family vacation on Folegandros at this beautiful home! The hosts were so kind and very responsive if we needed anything, and the views and sunsets were second to none. This gorgeous home is off-grid, yet we found it very comfortable for our family.. This home has all the amenities and a well equipped kitchen. It is secluded and peaceful, but is still only a short drive to Chora and the most beaches and hikes. We made many wonderful memories here, and we’d love to visit again.

Severine's House is first and foremost a house - a house full of thought about the guest and the environment, a house full of style and aesthetics, a house that manages to benefit from all the weather - whether it is wind or hot sun. Sunrise or sunset. We are a family of 5 and the house allowed for a spacious family feeling, but also gave space to each of us.

The location and orientation on the island is ideal. You get access to the most beautiful sunsets, nights full of stars, silence. The house is spacious and very comfortable, helps your mind travelling constantly. We loved staying in the north portion of the island, more nature, less people, the bakery and Irene restaurant close by. You cannot go wrong if you wish to go away. Lastly Severine and Riego are always available, quick to reply and very nice to exchange with.

Severine & Riego’s place is marvelous. The views from the house are breathtaking and the design of the villa is minimal, relaxing and has many different spaces from which to enjoy the panoramic view. Location is brilliant, only 5/10 min drive to some of the best beaches of the island. We were with small children and loved having so many open spaces to run and play. Highly recommended!
