The two of us spent an amazing relaxing weekend at The Little Green Cottage and surrounding grounds. Clare was a great and friendly host who gave us a great walk through and pointed us towards some great things to do in the area- including the Scrumpy Ewe Cidery nearby. The cottage and it’s two buildings were the perfect place to get away and just reconnect with nature. It’s set way back from a quiet country road with tremendous views of the surrounding Catskills. We’ve been very fortunate in our Airbnb’s- but I think this ranks as our favorite getaway for just the two of us. It’s cozy, comfortable, and the walks in the woods were really restorative. We’ll be back.

Our second stay with Claire and we’ll definitely be back again and again! Claire’s kindness and hospitality are unmatched. We have been to over 30 AirBnB’s and we have never felt so welcomed and ‘at home’. But it isn’t only Claire, the property has everything that you need and is the PERFECT place to escape and enjoy nature. Walks around the property, the outdoor pot belly stove, the adorable accommodations, the spectacular views….i could go on and on! Take my advice- RUN to book this magical cottage!

Clare was a great host. this place was amazing with spectacular views. the photos on the listing does not do it justice. my son and I had a great weekend here enjoying the scenery and nature. we will definitely be back!!

Magical- there’s really no other way to explain our experience over the past few days. The fireflies that lit up the trees and the field, the stars that shimmered in the sky, the quaint three buildings that we lived in, the multiple outdoor seating areas, the birds singing us their beautiful melodies, the hummingbird who came to check us out before flitting away, the walks through the forest and around the property and, of course, our INCREDIBLY kind and generous host, Claire. To discover that she planned and built the cottage and planted all of the wonderful plants that perfectly accented the place, along with building the stone walls was just amazing! We have stayed at many AirBNB’s and this is the only one that I can truly say made me want for nothing- everything that we needed was RIGHT THERE including a lovely selection of breakfast items waiting for us upon our arrival! This place is magical and you will not be disappointed if you book it!
