We really enjoyed the trip. It was a quiet stay and very relaxing. We caught 2 catfish off the dock. Be sure to bring a good pair of boots for the trail down to the river. Close to local stores - 5 minute drive.

This cabin is adorable in a secluded wooded area. I was a little disappointed by the steep hike to the river but it was my fault that I didn't read the details more thoroughly. The teens loved the dock and rope swing, and enjoyed it several times during our stay. I wish they had started the A/C PRIOR to our arrival. It was very warm and took hours to cool down. It was nice and cool the rest of the trip. There is a quaint country store just down the road that had a decent meat and food selection, along with some homemade goods. The firepit was lovely, offering a small clearing in the trees to enjoy the stars. Overall I really enjoyed this cabin and would rent it again.

The home and property was exactly what we wanted! The “walk” down to the river was much more like a HIKE. Overall a great place and would love to come back!
