Owner slow to respond, listing is a bit disingenuous, but on-site staff and housekeepers were great. House smelled highly of insecticide, which never seemed to go away and gave several of us headaches. Dryer was broken, and hot water was inconsistent. Location is walkable to town, but it’s a long and winding walk down & steep walk back up. One recommended driver tried gouging us on price but we ended up getting an Uber for a fraction of the cost, then just stuck with our Uber driver directly who was able to facilitate rides to & from the village. Grocery & cooking service was misleading, be prepared to shop for groceries on your own and plan your own meals, which was a disappointment because we don’t know ingredients for any Jamaican dishes and had to pry that information out of staff. Overall we enjoyed our time but I would not stay here again, especially for the price we paid.

Despite significant challenges, we had a lovely stay. Gorgeous space. Plenty of room for the 15 people staying there. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and the grounds were well-maintained. We enjoyed the pool. Beautiful views and location for my wedding. The staff was amazing. Merlene and Jennifer made us feel so cared for and as comfortable as they could, going above and beyond. The meals they made were among the best I've eaten in Jamaica. Unfortunately, the power went out multiple times. It was out for a short time when we arrived and then went out again the night before my wedding and remained out throughout most of the day. Miraculously, the lack of power didn't ruin the day. However, my husband uses a CPAP & was not able to sleep the night before our wedding. The power went out again the following night, so he did not sleep well then either. I would still stay here again in the future IF I could confirm that there would be a back up generator!

We were a family group of 8 adults joining with other family to celebrate a 50th birthday. We were impressed with the property upon arrival. It was very well-kept and the grounds were truly a garden retreat. The house could use some updating, but the setting and cleanliness surpassed any cosmetic needs. The patio, gazebo and pool area were a hit with the group. The view was awesome. We walked to a nearby restaurant and water fall. Merlene, Jennifer and Percy were constantly cleaning and were very attentive to all of our needs. The meals were excellent and served with pride. They treated us like family. The one complaint we had was with the transportation. The description on Airbnb indicated that the driver was assigned to the house. In reality transportation is provided by a company and we were going to be charged for every location separately. We contacted our travel agent who explained the concern. Courtney with the transportation company made us whole. We definitely recommend !

A peaceful and welcoming stay with a very helpful staff. An older house with dated furniture but neat and tidy. The staff cleaned the house and pool area first thing every morning. The house has an old time feel to it which was very sentimental to me, a nice memory of time spent with my grand parents. The only letdown was getting told after my group left that a pool chair was damaged. It was very disappointing not getting this information before we left, knowing that the pool area was also cleaned that very morning way before our departure. I confirmed with everyone in my group and no one is aware of the chair being damaged. In spite of this, I was more than willing to pay a fair replacement price for the chair. Michelle (the host) asked to be reimbursed $300 for the chair. I requested an invoice/bill to support the $300 charge but I didn't receive a response from her.

The villa has an amazing view, for most of the trip we just sat outside relaxed and enjoyed the view day and night. The Cooking /food cooking was absolutely amazing. Having traveled to Jamaica for over 20 years, I can honestly admit that this was some of the best Jamaican or food I have had. Me and my staff definitely give the cooking team 10 stars.
