My girlfriend and I were looking for a place in Burlington to see the total solar eclipse and to celebrate my birthday! we were not sure we were going to find anything but when this place popped up we knew we had to get it. from the comfortable home to the wonderful local recommendations for hikes and areas to see the eclipse, it was 10/10 worth it!!! so happy we were able to witness this once in a lifetime experience here.

Considering the price of hotels in Burlington, this is an amazing place. We were two people in a private suite with a living area, bathroom, bed and even a sauna! Even though the space is listed as a shared space (a renovated basement area in the family’s home), it felt very private and we did not hear the family above us. Liam and Ava were very responsive to our check in and out needs, and were pleasant and engaging to work with. The bed was super comfortable! We were about 15 minutes from downtown Burlington, depending a bit on traffic.

Excellent stay. The rooms were beautiful, bright and warm. The sauna was a welcome addition after a cold day. Liam and his family were welcoming, helpful and excellent hosts.

I will definitely be back to stay at the home with the orange doors! It was a few blocks from my daughter's home, making it easy to visit. The accommodations were spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. Liam and Ara were so nice and responsive. What a gem!

This is a great solo/duo spot to stay with an awesome family but plenty of privacy for the traveler(s). I’ll be honest: I have long-time close friends that live nearby so I genuinely live Burlington & have been here regularly for years. That being said- what a great spot to stay in a low-key but great local neighborhood. Sure it’s a bit removed from “downtown” but that grants you space & quiet in a unique spot. The sauna is awesome, the space is surprisingly large & live-able (unless you plan to cook a bunch- the food prep basics are available tho). Most importantly, the hosts are very gracious & genuinely interesting people that are tied tightly to their community. Had a great time & will absolutely be back
