Séjour exceptionnel , merveilleux domaine, hors du temps, paisible et ressourçant. Un domaine incroyable, on a la chance,l'espace de quelques jours, de vivre dans un morceau d'Histoire. Les équipements sont à la hauteur du site. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire, très réactif. merci pour ce séjour.

Myself and my extended family had the most magical time at the Chateau. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Geoffrey is a super responsive, excellent host. We are deeply grateful to Geoffrey and his father for maintaining this wonderful home to such a high standard and giving us the opportunity to stay there. The memories we created there will be cherished for a lifetime. We are truly fortunate to have experienced this unique opportunity. It was a privilege to stay at Château de La Barre. We’re already planning a return visit!

The Château is a very special place. The photos really don't do justice to how beautiful the building and its surroundings are. Each room was unique and you could sense the history throughout the Château. The outside space was vast with all the amenities you could ever need. The Château is locted in a beautifully peaceful rural setting yet only a 15 minute walk into Ménigoute, which has a well stocked local spar, a small bar/restuarant, and a bakery. Geoffrey's communication was perfect, always responding extremely quickly in a heplful and friendly manner. We couldn't reccomend this place more, it was the perfect rural getaway. We will certianly be back! Thank you to Geoffrey and Frederik!

We stayed at the Chateau for a large family holiday and it was perfect. The facilities are amazing with lots to do and keep you active, the bikes provided were a big bonus as we did not all hire cars. Geoffrey was highly responsive throughout our booking and nothing we asked for was too much, really accommodating. The local area is very peaceful so your stay feels private. I can’t recommend this beautiful piece of French history enough!

Excellent communication with owner. Amazing place, excellent facilities, we all had an amazing time. So much space and things to do at the chateau.
