It was a nice experience to stay in Mark and Karen’s place, they were not there but their co-host Christine and husband were, and they were very friendly and easy to talk with. The place is a big space under the house, with a good spacious kitchen that one can enter from right or left; kitchen utensils, bathroom, lounge room, TV and a very comfortable bed. It was nice to be in a very good self-contained unit. Also, with an easy access to the washing machine and a nice pool. Would recommend it and hope to stay again, if we are up in Townsville.

Mark & Karen's was exactly what we were looking for as we were in Townsville to drop off our son to uni. It was central and close to the uni, shopping centres, restaurants and the Strand as well. The unit was well equipped and very clean. We felt right at home. Their hospitality was beyond expectations. We will definitely return if we are back in Townsville.

Absolutely awesome place, Mark & Karen are outstanding hosts that go above and beyond what is expected. The space we had was impeccably clean and uncluttered. It has a comfortable lounge and bed, spacious bathroom, the eat-in kitchen is large and has everything you need to prepare all of your meals. And to top it all off, a stunning swimming pool with decking and shade. We would highly recommend Mark & Karen's place and look forward to staying with them again.

Impeccably clean, well-organized, and spacious, it provided the perfect balance of privacy and comfort. Comprising a bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen, each space was thoughtfully sized and equipped, ensuring a delightful stay. Mark and Karen's place was perfect. Worked really well for what I needed. nice and close to the river for me to go for a run. Very clean and tidy. had everything I needed. Would book again for a future trip. Friendly and helpful hosts.
