Dora, a Corfu house with a shared pool, is a house set all on one level in the village of Kaminaki Corfu, just a breath away from local tavernas very close to the sea, 24 minutes from the airport. Dora has a shared swimming pool with a terrace and outside furniture. The house has air-conditioning It sleeps up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There is however a possibility to accommodate 1 extra adults on request. Layout It resides in 60 square metres of space. There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a lounge, a kitchen, a diner and a family shower. Bedrooms and sleeping arrangements: - Bedroom 1: Sleeps 2 adults on a double bed - Bedroom 2: Sleeps 2 adults on twin beds Nearby supermarkets can deliver groceries and essentials to the property. We spent a nice family holidays at the villa. The house was in a good working condition, although a little tired compared to the pictures, the kitchen was well equipped. We did a lot of cooking. The house is a walking distance from the sea and the kids enjoyed the pool as well. The internet was intermittent that was a problem as there was a poor mobile network reception in general but this is probably due to the location of the villa. The families at the other villas were all very friendly, which made it pleasant. The approach to the villas is not for everyone as the road is extremely steep and requires good driving skills. A car or a motorbike is a must to be able to get around the island and to do basic shopping, which is a very speed walk uphill to the main road. The host was always very helpful and resolved any queries in a timely manner.

A lovely location with a beautiful beach and restaurant at the end of the road. Worth noting that the villa is self-catering and hence some of the items that you would normally expect aren't there (e.g. tea towels)

We had an enjoyable stay here. We did have difficulty on check in. There are detailed instructions and pictures to navigate from Corfu port to Kaminaki - in fact way too many pictures, in fact the one picture that should have been included was a picture of the property. In addition, the instructions reference the Taksi unit rather than the Dora unit; we thought perhaps our unit had therefore been changed; only to find someone else in the unit when we arrived . It all got sorted in the end after some messaging but it was a little distressing. As to the place, it was fine. Had it been really hot we would have appreciated the pool and shady outdoor area more. kaminaki beach is distant from a lot of things and it is necessary to have a car. I would not recommend walking on the main road as it is narrow, busy and lots of traffic. Still, we did enjoy our stay but would likely stay at another part of the island in the future.
