We bought Ardmore 7 years ago and have extensively renovated it and turned it into an energy efficient and future proof house (as currently in the Highlands the norm is oil fueled heating), we are now heated by an air source heat pump and a large part of our electricity is sourced from the sun. The Nest has everything that you need to stay, from shower gel & shampoo to herbs & spices and a food larder for preparing simple meals; games, books, films, yoga mats plus a record player. The train station is 5 minutes walk away and the sleeper train stops here, we have electric charging outside our house and ample parking. The Nest is every thing you and your loved one should need or want for a short break in the Highlands. The Nest is at the top of the house and takes up an entire floor, it has its own staircase to access - the floor is sound proofed and it feels very private. There are 4 windows and each has mountain views to The Cairngorm Mountains and to Craeg Bheag, the hill behind the house. You will use the front door, the grand entrance, in addition there is a private area in the garden for you to relax if you want to enjoy the sun. We have lots of local knowledge, the kind of stuff the guide books don't tell you! information and local walking and cycling maps will be provided.
