The little birch cabin is great. Christopher is a wonderful host and the house is very nice and quiet. We have seen a lot of birds and Wildlife, especially the first couple of days. It was very special to see the badgers up close. Christopher had given some great tips about walks. We had a wonderful week in the Cairngorms.

The Cabin was everything you wanted and more. We came here for the wildlife. Tbe Badgers came every night. Pine Marten came 3 nights red squirrels every day and woodpecker and lots of other birds. Red deer herd down the road and Ospreys nest close by. Lots of nice walks close by. Aviemore and the cairngorms a short dive. A great holiday

My family had a fantastic week at Little Birch cabin. Christopher and Angie couldn't be more welcoming, helpful and friendly. They really succeed in sharing their love and enjoyment of the cabin and the area with their guests. The many thoughtful touches around the cabin made me think the hosts have thought of everything and really care about their guests. Little Birch cabin was a great find. It was our first visit and I intend to return and often! Highlights for us were the badgers and pine martens every night, the birds on their feeders and the birdsong in the mornings, the stove, the comfort and homeliness of the place. The situation is ideal to explore the area near or far if you wish. My only complaint is that I had to leave at the end of the week. I'll book 2 weeks next time!

We loved our stay here. The Little Birch Cabin was everything we wanted and more! The cabin was clean and had all the ammenities we needed. The beds were comfy and we always felt warm and cosy. The hosts were fantastic and their hospitality were second to none. Chris was always at the end of the phone if we needed him and the instructions he gave were clear. The location was perfect: calm, peaceful and wildlife galore. 🦡 If you love walking, Insh is the perfect place because just in the cabin's doorstep is miles of woodlands to explore. It really felt like a home away from home and we were sad to leave! Thank you Chris and Angie 😊

Our second visit was as fabulous as the first (Easter 2023). It is such a beautiful and peaceful location and a perfect place to relax and recharge. We loved the close encounters with the wildlife and eagerly anticipated the evening antics of the badgers, pine martens and weasel. The cabin was very cosy and well thought out with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Communication with our hosts was always very prompt, friendly and helpful. It was reassuring to know that they lived close by in case of any emergency.
