We are Dianne & Rod Frazer. We're the owners of Where Stags Roar, a small selection of 4-star holiday homes in Newtonmore, the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, in the Scottish Highlands. We built WSR up over the last twenty years and are proud recent winners of the prestigious 'Best Self Catered Accommodation Highlands and Islands Tourism' awards, and were national finalists in the Scottish Thistle accommodation awards. We're also ski instructors, who worked mostly in the French Alps and now enjoy skiing closer to home, and we're passionate about Scotland and the outdoors :) Please note that our check-in time is 4pm and check out is by 10am - thank you for your understanding and for not arriving earlier at the property - there are lovely local cafes and plenty of things to do if you arrive in the area ahead of these timings (such as a walk up Glen Banchor, visiting Ruthven Barracks, Dalwhinnie distillery, Highland Folk Museum, Loch Insh and lots more). We will text you or message on this platform if the property is ready early - thank you for your understanding and your co-operation.
