We had a great week in Mark’s very comfortable house. We had everything we needed and settled in very well. Instructions were detailed and helpful and the situation was perfect for walking. Lots of good walks right from the house. Very handy for groceries and accessing other shops and amenities. Nice to be in a town for New Year and we’d love to go back.

Wonderful and spacious house to have relaxing holidays in highland. We spent christmas 2024 holiday time with family gathering at Mark’s place. House was very well decorated (specially with huge christmas tree & portraits ) with all you need for holiday. helpful neighbours (lady on right-front side house). Ideal place to explore area of craingorm and aviemore. This will be our holiday home for future highland trips . Thanks Mark for your help in booking.

Great place to stay. Amenities within walking distance. Wildcat trail great for kids (and big kids). Very handy that you can use swimming pool in the Balavil hotel (at a charge if not a resident) Saved a drive to Aviemore. House big enough that you have your own space.

Mark was a great host. Was sent clear and helpful instructions before check in. Place was as described and clean. Has all the facilities needed. Its in a great location in Highlands. Easy reach to all activities in Aviemore, Ben Nevis. Quiet town. Garden is small and not enclosed, Parking space is for 2 as described.

Ceilidh is a very spacious and comfortable house. Yes, the main bedroom really is as big as it looks in the photograph. There’s even a second lounge, so if some want to watch television while others prefer a bit of quiet, that can easily be managed. All the facilities were as described and worked fine. Also, the water pressure is good, which means that a powerful shower can be had. This place is great value for a large party. I’d certainly stay here again. Do heed the host’s recommendation of the Letterbox Restaurant, the food there is delicious and, to my mind, very reasonably priced, given the high standard. Also, the Antlers Café is good for anything from coffee and cake to a substantial breakfast/brunch.
