I had an emergency, and needed a place to stay pretty late, and asap. Jimmy was quick to respond, very accommodating, and his easy going attitude was reassuring. Luckily I picked the perfect spot to calm down, because the whole room looks out over a lake. Such a beautiful thing to wake up to. I cannot thank you enough.

Location was perfect for attending a concert at the Ruoff venue. Extremely quiet. Host was very friendly and always responsive. Felt completely comfortable, like we were the only ones there. Very safe feeling to the neighborhood, and several amenities such as gas stations and restaurants were nearby. Perfect place to crash for the night if you’re in town for a concert. Check out Rosie’s Cafe for breakfast. It’s across from the courthouse and was excellent, thanks for that recommendation Jimmy!

Very quiet place with a comfortable bed in a well darkened room. Host was very responsive when contacted, and very quiet and courteous when we told him we go to bed pretty early. Be aware that there is no door. This didn't really bother us, since the stairs are positioned in such a way that someone would have to walk halfway down them to see into the room at all, and it feels very private. If you would feel more secure with a closed door on your room, there is a separate room available downstairs --just ask. We opted for the larger king bed in the main room, with zero regrets. It is also a little cluttered and only accessible by fairly steep stairs, so probably not the best choice if you have vision or walking challenges, but for anyone else seeking a peaceful place to sleep with a beautiful view to enjoy when you wake up, we strongly recommend Jimmy's place. Very reasonable rates, too!

My sister and I took my mom to see Janet Jackson in concert. We were nearly 2 hrs from home, but Jim place was only minutes from the concert venue, which was one of the reasons I chose it & the price was right. We didn't need anything fancy or posh, just a clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep, & that is exactly what was offered. The big bed in the main room was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The lake view from the sliding glass doors was nice, and the screened in porch with a bar & large fridge was nice, tho we didn't get to use it. It felt a lot like staying out of town at a friend's who was there but not really. We saw him at check-in, and that's it. There was a mini fridge, microwave & remote workstation. You walk thru his living quartes upstairs to get to the lower level, which was fine and didn't affect our experience. Great stay! THANK YOU, Jim!!

Jimmy was a super host, he was always reachable and was helpful for the out of towners. A must stay.
